Royal College of Art — wayfinding

Branding and signage design for the wider development of the College’s Fine Art campus in Battersea. The campus branding is an extension of the Royal College of Art identity, and utilises a new typeface named ‘Cal’. The overall project involves developing and implementing a visual strategy for the campus, including the branding of key aspects through to internal and external way-finding signage.

Type font Call

A sans-serif typeface named 'Cal' was designed based on Margaret Calvert’s slab-serif font, ‘Calvert’ which is at the core of the College’s identity.
'Cal' would provide typographic uniformity across the signage system and in the Royal College of Art logotype. The font was designed in Illustrator.

The Challenge: Use new channels and technologies to change the perception of FIFA, delivering products and content that fans will love.

Our solution: Optimize the content for a better experience. We propose a platform, which will enable FIFA to use their content strategically in a changing digital landscape. With so many variables, FIFA needs to better prioritise their content and define parameters to deliver a compelling fan- centric proposition that guides rather than overwhelms the user.
The content should be ordered clearly and intelligently to allow users to control their experience. FIFA has an opportunity to diffuse their corporate content throughout digital channels with the aim of changing perception and surfacing content that FIFA should be proud of.
Think of Amazon and the way they handle ‘related items’. Depending on the content context the user can be ‘fed’ relevant and appropriate content.
